Every Mind Belongs: A Dialogue on Disability, Neurodiversity and Mental Health Inclusion

Universities, workplaces and communities around the world are working to become more inclusive. Disability, neurodiversity and mental health still tend to sit at the edges of those conversations, and they are often discussed separately or not at all. This webinar brings them together for an honest dialogue about what inclusion means in practice and how we can create environments where every person can thrive.

The webinar is hosted by the PRME Working Group on Disability, Neurodiversity and Mental Health Inclusion, part of the Principles for Responsible Management Education initiative of the United Nations Global Compact. It is the first in a series that aims to build awareness and a shared understanding across business schools, organisations and communities.

The session is organised around three themes:

The Challenge: the visible and invisible barriers that persist in education and employment, and why good intentions are not always enough.

The Business Case: why inclusion strengthens institutions, teams and organisations, and why it is a strategic priority rather than a compliance exercise.

The Actionable Future: practical steps that educators, leaders and individuals can take, starting now.

The panel brings together lived experience, research and practice:

P Rajasekharan (Raja), Founder, V-shesh, on disability inclusion

Dr Valli Batchelor, Monash Business School, Australia, and UN PRME Steering Committee (Arts for Impact Chapter), on neurodiversity

Dr Vasundhara Kaul, Chief Learning & Strategic Consulting Officer, Carpediem EdPsych Consultancy, on mental health

The discussion will be moderated by Arshia Kaul, CQU University, Australia. Each speaker will share a short perspective, and the panel will then take questions, including from the audience.
