PRME Working Group on Decolonisation

Co-inquiry workshop on questions of positionality, race, belonging and responsibility within academic institutions - Tuesday 17th November, 9:00-10:30am (UK time)

In discussion with Dr Jeanine Jansen, from the Department of Strategy, Organization & Leadership at Nyenrode Business Universiteit, our working group would like to invite you into a co-inquiry prompted by the life and death of Professor Jason Arday and the questions his experiences raises for us as academics. We want to create a space to reflect together on questions of positionality, race, belonging and responsibility within academic institutions. What does reflecting on Jason Arday’s life and work evoke in us? What does it ask us to notice about ourselves and the institutions of which we are part? And what might become possible when we stay with these questions together?

This workshop will be limited to 16 people. If you would like to register, please do so before the 10th November at: Registering for the co-inquiry workshop on 17th November 2026, 9:00-10:30am UK time
