Future Facing Learning Conference 2027

Teesside University has announced the return of the Future Facing Learning Conference 2027, part of their global series exploring the evolving landscape of higher education.

The theme this year is: Skills, enterprise and industry-linked learning: Designing curriculum for an AI-enabled economy.

The Middlesbrough conference will take place 7-9 April 2027 in the university’s flagship Digital Life building, bringing together a global community of researchers, educators, technologists, and policymakers to examine one of the most urgent questions of our time:

What does it mean to learn, teach, and assess when intelligence itself is becoming artificial, distributed, and continuously evolving?

This conference is a space for bold thinking, practical experimentation, and meaningful dialogue. There are four themes:
