UN Summit of the Future Side Event: Accelerating Opportunities for Young People - Transforming Responsible Leadership Education Together

The Summit of the Future–a once-in-a-generation opportunity to enhance cooperation on critical challenges and address global gaps for a sustainable future–will be held on 22-23 September 2024 at UNHQ. The UN Global Compact and PRME together with relevant partners will hold an official Summit side-event titled “Accelerating Opportunities for Young People - Transforming Responsible Leadership Education Together” to discuss the importance of responsible leadership education and what is needed to address climate change, digital transformation, and beyond. This event is in person only and invitees include civil society, young people, academia, researchers, governments, UN officials, the private sector, and more. The objective of the side event is to highlight key developments/good practices as well as serve as a forum for discussion and collaboration towards action.
