Biodiversity and Business Coffee Meeting (ONLINE): Embedding Biodiversity into Business Curriculum

Copenhagan Business School invites you to join the academic discussion forum to stimulate research and higher education ideas that can contribute to the advancing knowledge on the complex problem of integrating biodiversity into decision-making and actions within organisations.

At this coffee meeting, we will hear from our colleagues Dr Padmi Nagirikandalage, Senior Lecturer, Nottingham Trent University and Dr. Nishani Ekanayake, Senior Lecturer, University of Lincoln as they share their experiences with integrating biodiversity into business education and developing teaching cases for use in class.

We will also hear from Helen Goworek, Durham University, Professor in the Business School present her experience in embedding biodiversity into responsible business management curricula through a cross-country comparison of Denmark and UK.

Addressing biodiversity in business requires a number of research methods and disciplinary approaches. In addition to the research element, as higher education educators we face new challenges in integrating biodiversity and other environmental aspects into our curricula.

Through these monthly online ‘coffee’ meetings we hope to stimulate debate and share experiences that can enhance our cumulative contributions to this important field of action.
