PRME Chapter Africa
A central commitment of any institution participating in PRME is to share information with its stakeholders on the progress made in implementing the Seven Principles through an annual Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) report. The 2026 SIP reporting period opened on 1 March and will close on 30 September.
PRME Chapter UK & Ireland and PRME Chapter Africa are committed to supporting members in developing their respective SIP reports. Please join us for a webinar on “PRME SIP Reporting – Strengthening Quality and Promoting Stakeholder Engagement and Voice”
The session will examine practical strategies for strengthening PRME SIP reporting, drawing on the experience of established reporters to highlight good practice in evidencing impact, ensuring consistency, and developing strong qualitative narratives and quantitative indicators. It will also explore approaches to meaningfully engaging internal and external stakeholders in the SIP process, including students, faculty, professional services staff, and external partners, with a focus on capturing stakeholder perspectives and integrating them into reporting to enhance transparency, accountability, relevance, and overall reporting quality.
The webinar will feature presentations from individuals with extensive experience of delivering high-quality, impactful reports:
Faradh Singh, Project Manager: Accreditation and Assurance of Learning, Gordon Institute of Business Science
Galina Goncharenko, Reader of Accounting and PRME Lead, Aston University
Oreva Atanya, Director, Sustainability Centre, Lagos Business School
The session will be hosted by Laura Steele (PRME Chapter UK & Ireland Vice-Chair) and Mumbai Wachira (PRME Chapter Africa Chair).
