Call for Nominations: PRME Advisory Board 2026–2029

Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), an initiative of the United Nations Global Compact, is inviting nominations for its Advisory Board for the 2026–2029 term.

Established in 2007, PRME’s mission is to transform management education and develop the responsible decision-makers of tomorrow to advance sustainable development. With over 870 signatory institutions across 96 countries and 17 regional Chapters, PRME has become the leading global movement for embedding sustainability, ethics, and responsible leadership into business and management education.

The Role of the PRME Advisory Board

The PRME Advisory Board provides strategic guidance and counsel to the Head of PRME and UN Global Compact leadership. Composed of respected leaders from business schools and related institutions worldwide, the Board plays a vital role in advancing PRME’s mission, strengthening governance, and ensuring the initiative’s impact and credibility.

Advisory Board Members serve as ambassadors and advocates, helping PRME:

  • Lead global thought and action in responsible management education.

  • Strengthen PRME as the trusted brand in sustainability-focused education.

  • Empower people to transform organizations through responsible leadership.

Eligibility and Expectations

Nominees should:

  • Hold a leadership position within a PRME Signatory institution or constituency.

  • Have demonstrated commitment to PRME’s mission and the United Nations values.

  • Possess expertise in advancing responsible management education and sustainable development.

  • Commit time and energy to actively participate in Advisory Board meetings and initiatives.

  • Serve in an individual capacity as a respected, collegial, and forward-thinking leader.

Board Members are appointed for a three-year term (2026–2029), with the possibility of renewal for one additional term.

Nomination Process

  • Available Seats: 9

  • Deadline: 15 December 2025 (11:59 PM EST)

  • Shortlisted candidates will undergo due diligence and interviews in early 2026.

  • Selected candidates will be notified by March 2026, with terms beginning in June 2026.
