Toulouse School of Management
Toulouse School of Management (TSM) is a public institution founded in 1955 and a school within the Toulouse Capitole University. TSM is a research-intensive institution in management science and offers state-recognised degrees from undergraduate to doctoral levels in business education. TSM's focus on research-based learning and teaching shapes the academic content and objectives of the programme. More than teaching facts and models, it is about transmitting this research culture of creative and critical thinking. To do so, faculty members are encouraged to integrate their research activities as part of the course content, providing students with up-to-date knowledge and analytical approaches to business and management challenges, providing compulsory literature and providing a methodology to generate reliable information.
Being educated at a public research School also imparts a sense of integrity and responsibility that is reflected in civic values. To do so, major social challenges are embedded in the values of the school and in the curriculum of the Programmes via courses, projects and skills, and are docked at the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
