Edith Cowan University’s School of Business and Law is based in the heart of Perth Central Business District where most classes are taught. It also delivers classes online, with a limited selection of first-year units in Bunbury (South West region). Students can also complete the Bachelor of Commerce (with majors in Management, Marketing, and/or International Business) at the ECU Sri Lanka campus in Colombo.

The School is renowned for its innovative approach to education and differentiates itself through a strong quality student experience, a diverse student profile, an international outlook and global perspective, and contemporary, practice-focused programs. Courses are designed to provide students with a balanced mix of the latest theory, practical work experience, and the development of key employability skills.

More than 60 programs are offered across multiple disciplines in both full-time and part-time modes, with face-to-face, hybrid, and online delivery options.
The School is internationally recognised for excellence. Times Higher Education has ranked the School in the top 300 globally for Business and Economics. In the Shanghai Rankings, the School is ranked #40 in the world for Hospitality and Tourism Management. Business and Economics is also ranked in the 201–250 band in the University World Rankings 2026.
