PRME Reaffirms Commitment to Shared Values in Responsible Management Education

In a rapidly changing world, the role of business schools in shaping the future of business, society and the planet is more important than ever. PRME is guided by and remains fully committed to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the Seven Principles of PRME.

As the leading global initiative for responsible management education with more than 800 signatories worldwide, PRME is committed to equipping the next generation of leaders with the tools to address real-world challenges through innovation, integrity and a strong sense of purpose.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by all 193 UN Member States, provide a universal framework for progress. The SDGs offer a common language and direction for fostering inclusive growth, long-term sustainability and positive societal impact. PRME and the UN Global Compact remain committed to our work in driving actions and advocating for the Global Goals and the values they represent, helping business and management schools not only keep pace with change but shape it.

As a UN-supported initiative, PRME works to advance responsible management education by encouraging the integration of sustainability, ethics and equitable inclusion into curricula, research and institutional strategy. These values are practical, human-centered principles that enable effective leadership in an interconnected world.

At PRME, we believe that business education is most impactful when it reflects a broad and balanced perspective. Our Principles-based approach welcomes diversity of thought and is grounded in the shared belief that effective leaders are those who can navigate complexity, foster collaboration and drive meaningful results in ways that benefit both business and society.

We remain committed to supporting our Signatory Members and the wider community of higher education institutions in advancing these goals. Our network provides tools, resources and opportunities for peer learning and dialogue, ensuring that sustainability and responsible leadership stay at the heart of business education—regardless of context or geography.

Looking ahead, PRME will continue to serve as a platform for all institutions and individuals who are working to develop forward-looking, values-driven leaders. We invite everyone who shares this aspiration to join us in shaping a future where business education is a force for good.
