PRME Working Group on Climate Change and Environment

PRME Climate Literacy Training (August)

This training will be delivered by the PRME Secretariat, PRME Working Group on Climate and the Environment, and PRME Chapter Australia & New Zealand, including the Australian Business Deans Council and PRME Australia New Zealand Climate Action Working Group. This Climate Literacy Training Programme equips you with the information and skills needed to make these high impact changes in your work for example research, teaching or consultancy work in order to reduce carbon emissions along with addressing multiple other SDGs. A certificate is given upon full participation and completion of the training.

The four sessions will be hosted at 7pm ET and will cover:

1. Positive Futures Scenarios and Climate Justice (Tuesday, 4 August)

2. Climate Science and the matching high impact climate solutions (Thursday, 6 August)

3. Carbon calculation and individual action (Tuesday, 11 August)

4. Climate Change Mitigation: a systems approach (Thursday, 13 August)

You must attend sessions 1-4 in order to be eligible for certification. CLT is brought to you by Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, the PRME Champions, oikos International, and the Carbon literacy Project.
