PRME Working Group on Climate Change and Environment
The PRME Working Group on Climate Change & the Environment is excited to announce their event on, "Inspiring a More Beautiful World in Rough Times: Practical Tools for Collective Imagination".
How do we shift from climate anxiety to climate inspiration—across business, civil society, government and academia? In this fast-paced, interactive session you will experience a proven framework developed by Reinventing Society e.V. that helps audiences move beyond problem focus toward possibility thinking. Through mini-exercises drawn from the “utopian toolbox”, you will learn how to:
1. spark constructive emotion and imagination in diverse groups,
2. translate visionary thinking into tangible solution ideation, and
3. embed a whole-systems lens that bridges personal, organizational and societal change.
Participants leave with ready-to-use facilitation moves and access to open-source materials for
immediate application in classrooms, boardrooms or community projects.
Facilitator Simon Mohn is co-founder and chair of Reinventing Society e.V. A practitioner at the intersection of organisational development and transformative learning, he designed the majority of the association’s utopian toolkit and has guided climate-focused workshops for municipalities, social enterprises and NGOs. His work integrates systems thinking, narrative change and experiential methods to unlock collective agency.
