Join PRME at the 2025 ECOSOC Youth Forum

PRME and The German Center for Research and Innovation New York invites you to an engaging and action-oriented side event at the 2025 ECOSOC Youth Forum:

Event Title: Action for Youth: Bridging Partnerships for Youth Entrepreneurship
Date & Time: 16 April 2025, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM EST
Location: German Consulate, 871-873 1st Ave., New York, NY 10017

Why Attend?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth an ambitious global agenda, yet recent data reveals that progress is stalling or even reversing on 37% of the goals. The challenge is clear: we need urgent, collaborative action to realign with the 2030 targets.

The private sector plays a crucial role in driving sustainable development, but persistent gaps in education and workforce readiness hinder progress. This session will bring together young leaders, businesses, policymakers, and educators to address these challenges head-on and drive actionable solutions.

What to Expect

This event will provide a dynamic platform for dialogue and action, focusing on:

  • Fostering youth entrepreneurship and identifying tangible ways to support young innovators.

  • Strengthening partnerships between the private sector, academia, and policymakers to ensure better education-to-employment pathways.

  • Addressing key SDGs, including poverty (SDG 1), quality education (SDG 4), gender equality (SDG 5), decent work (SDG 8), climate action (SDG 13), and partnerships (SDG 17).

Be Part of the Change

This side event is more than just a discussion - it is a call to action. We invite students, young professionals, business leaders, educators, policymakers, and all stakeholders to engage in shaping a fairer, greener, and more inclusive future.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect, collaborate, and create impact. Register today and be part of the movement driving youth entrepreneurship and sustainable development!
