The Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences („WiSo faculty“) was founded in 1901 as a School of Commerce. Since then, it has extended its scope to Economics, Sociology and Politics. We have over a century of experience in the education of new generations of business professionals, economists, sociologists and political experts. During this time, we have developed a tradition of close dialogue with our stakeholders and a focus on scientific research that is relevant to the corporate world, to economic policy and to society at large. We are located in the heart of Europe, in a city that has been a centre of international trade and commerce for over two thousand years.
