We are pleased to announce the upcoming 3rd PRME Regional Meeting Latin America and Caribbean, which will take place at EGADE Business School, Mexico City, Mexico on 17-18 June, 2014.

The principal objectives of the meeting are to promote the adoption of PRME and the UN Global Compact principles by academic institutions, business and civil society in the LAC region and to increase the membership of universities and business schools in the newly-created LAC PRME Chapter.

This invitation is open to:

1. Universities and business schools from Latin America and the Caribbean that are already signatories of PRME and are interested in sharing best practices and experiences.
2. Universities and business schools that are not signatories of PRME but seek the adoption of its principles and to become part of the select group of academic institutions committed to the introduction of corporate social responsibility values in their educational programmes.
3. Businesses and civil society organizations interested in collaborating with business schools and universities to jointly build a new and more responsible business culture which addresses the economic, social and environmental challenges facing the Latin American and Caribbean region.

En Espanol:

EGADE Business School, del Tecnologico de Monterrey, se complace en invitarlos a la 3era Reunión Regional PRME de América Latina y el Caribe: “Ética, Transparencia y Sostenibilidad: Pilares de la competitividad empresarial” que se llevará a cabo del 17 al 18 de junio en EGADE Business School, Sede Campus Santa Fe, ubicada en la Ciudad de México.

Los objetivos de la reunión son promover la adopción de los Principios de PRME y del Pacto Mundial de las Naciones Unidas por parte de una amplia gama de instituciones académicas, empresas y organizaciones de la sociedad civil de América Latina y el Caribe; así como incorporar a nuevas universidades y escuelas de negocios para que formen parte del Capítulo PRME de la región.

Esta convocatoria se extiende a:

1. Las universidades y escuelas de negocios firmantes de la región de Latinoamérica y el Caribe que ya son firmantes de PRME y que estén interesados en compartir sus experiencias y mejores prácticas inspirados en los principios de esta organización.
2. Las universidades y escuelas de negocios que, no siendo firmantes de PRME, estén interesadas en adoptar los principios de esta organización y ser parte de las entidades académicas líderes comprometidas con la introducción de valores basados en la responsabilidad social corporativa en sus programas educativos.
3. Las empresas y organizaciones de la sociedad civil interesadas en colaborar con las escuelas de negocio y universidades para crear conjuntamente una cultura empresarial responsable, orientada a atender los retos sociales, ambientales y económicos que enfrenta la región de América Latina y del Caribe.
