Save the date: International Conference on Sustainable Development (SD) in Higher Education (HE) - Responsible Management, Innovative Programme Design and Green Learning Environment, 2016

We are pleased to announce that the International Conference on Sustainable Development in Higher Education, 2016 will be hosted on 5-6 July 2016 by the Centre for Corporate Sustainability and Innovations (CCSI), at PRME signatory Hang Seng Management College in Hong Kong, China. Jonas Haertle, PRME Secretariat Head, will be the Honorary Speaker.

Conference Theme

The Conference is committed to promote the sharing of professional knowledge and research excellence with industry, business, the public sector, and the community in order to achieve social, cultural, environmental or economic impacts. Renowned overseas and local scholars and experts in corporate governance, business ethics, education, and environment are invited to serve as speakers to present their current research, good practices and discuss new areas worthy of investigation in each of the conference’s topics. Practitioners are also be invited to share the latest trends in green implementation, for example, green campus design and engage learning.

Objectives

  1. To create a platform for practitioners and academia to be led by best practices associated with sustainable development strategies in responsible management, innovative programme/ module design, and green learning environment management;

  2. To enhance academics' research capability and keep them abreast on new developments and challenging research topics in sustainable development in higher education;

  3. To provide innovative insights to various stakeholders in order to resolve problems that have arisen in contexts relating to sustainability and social responsibility; and

  4. To provide an opportunity to bring different stakeholders together for professional sharing on the global trends and practices of sustainable development in higher education to achieve social, cultural and environmental or economic impacts.
