PRME in ISLA Management School
ISLA and its School of Management are signatories and members of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative.
Based on the principles of sustainable development, we are now part of a community that believes that all people have the right to live with dignity and to meet their needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.
Education for responsible management seeks to develop people who help their organisations create inclusive prosperity while promoting freedom, justice and peace in regenerative and resilient natural ecosystems.
Being responsible means being mindful of impact and time. Responsible decision-makers look forward and backwards while living in the moment. Looking forward, they are responsible not only for current and future generations, but for all life on the planet. Looking backwards, they are accountable for their actions, both those taken and those avoided.
And so, with enthusiasm, we join a worldwide community of educational institutions with the same goals to promote the project's objectives and aspirations, document the initiatives developed, share lessons learned, and help each other face our challenges.
