PRME Global
Jounieh, Kesrwan, Lebanon - 14-15 April 2014
This International Conference on Governance - Corporate Governance across Ethics, Culture, and Citizenship: What to give and what to expect, is hosted by ESCA School of Management, Morocco together with the Faculty of Business and Commercial Sciences Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), held at the USEK campus in Jounieh, Kesrwan, Lebanon, on 14-15 April 2014.
Much has been said about Corporate Governance (CG) issues, and it is generally held that the success of today’s businesses is strongly linked to these already expounded principles. Still few executives and managers are aware of the importance of the subject and its impact on the stakeholder’s perception when evaluating a company based on ethics and citizenship. In an increasingly complex environment, an ongoing debate remains open for leaders to identify and develop the components of a sustainable competitive advantage, under the flagship of “Responsible Company”.
It is within this spirit, that the conference aims to tackle issues of Corporate Governance with respect to Ethics, Culture and Citizenship. We will try to bring new approaches to rising problems in the aftermath of economic downturns while taking into consideration the role each stakeholder plays in economic recovery.
