We are pleased to announce that the 4th PRME Regional Meeting North America ‘The 10th Anniversary of the PRME Initiative: Realizing the SDGs through Education, Research and Partnership,’ will take place on 18-20 October 2017. The event will be organized by the College of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

YOU CAN REGISTER HERE.

Please note that we will also announce the UN PRME Chapter North America Awards for Excellence in Responsible Management Education at the regional meeting. We will present the Excellence Awards to nominees in the following three categories: (1) teaching; (2) research or scholarly/creative activities; and (3) service. Award recipients will receive an honorarium and a plaque.

Delegates of the conference will hear from leaders in business, government and academia discuss their challenges, successes and future opportunities in integrating the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals into their operations, policy or curriculum.

Who should attend? Leaders of business schools, faculty members, undergraduate/master's/Ph.D. students, business representatives, and government/non-profit agencies.

Why should you attend? Learn how your institution or organization can effectively integrate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals within educational programming, research, and strategic partnerships.

New component for 2017:
Prior to the official start of the conference, on October 18th, delegates will discover how the city of Guelph has integrated sustainability efforts within its core infrastructure, by touring local BCorp certified businesses. Delegates will then partake in an afternoon excursion at a reconstructed Iroquoian village to discuss pedagogical innovations within the realm of sustainability and the SDG's.

Please email applications to mark.meaney@colorado.edu; or, mail them to the address found below. The ‘call for nominations’ of peer or self will now extend thru May 1st.
