Save the Date – 2nd PRME Regional Meeting North America

We are pleased to announce the 2nd PRME Regional Meeting North America will be held on 4-6 February 2016 Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Please click here for a copy of the working agenda.

The meeting will build on the achievements and goals set at the 1st PRME Regional Meeting North America hosted by University of Washington at Bothell School of Business to further embed sustainability and corporate responsibility within business related education.

The two main themes for this conference will be engagement and impact. Throughout the conference, focus will be on how schools can improve their engagement with and impact on business and cultural communities to further embed the PRME principles in higher education and society. Both engagement and impact are keys areas interest to AACSB-International.

In addition, the meeting will continue to work to align and unify the resources of existing and new PRME members, especially as we strenghten and explore the next steps for the PRME Chapter North America. This is vital in order to live up to the goals set not only by the PRME, but also by the United Nations General Assembly, which announced the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in late September as a follow up to the original Millennium Development goals. Both PRME and general UN goals aim to move society towards a more sustainable place in which to live.

To register, please visit the event registration site. Register before 9 January to receive the discounted registration rate at $350USD. This fee covers the cost of conference materials, receptions, coffee breaks and a conference excursion.

Additionally, you are invited to bring a guest free of charge. Guests may include colleagues from your institution or non-PRME members. Offer limited to one guest per paid registrant. To get your promo-code, please contact Jeanne Prunka at jprunka@kennesaw.edu or 470-578-6087.

We look forward to a great 2nd meeting, and we hope to see you in Atlanta.
