Dear members of the PRME LAC Community,
After years of dedication working for PRME in different roles it’s time to take on a new challenge now as a member of PRME Secretariat. I will act as Manager of I5 Project, an initiative aimed at building innovative pedagogies, with great relation to our chapters and financed by the Lego Foundation.
I started my career at PRME with the support of the leader Norman Arruda, as a representative of ISAE Business School, one of the pioneers in getting involved with the principles. We develop many things together and support the protagonism of Brazil and Latin America in different global initiatives.
Also as part of the Champions Group, I developed projects in partnership with multiple universities and had the opportunity to observe the impact of PRME in different parts of the world. I am very proud to have been one of the creators of BSIEM - Business for Social Impact in Emerging Markets , an educational program that emerged in the Champions Group and today stimulates the exchange between 05 countries of emerging markets.
Over the past two years, as Chair of the Latin American Chapter, we have made great progress with the support of members and our Committees, broadening engagement on global initiatives such as the SIP Sub-Impact Committee and the organisation of the PRME Global Forums. We also innovate in creating the Student Ambassador Program, involving young protagonists of the region and engaging them in relevant topics that contribute to sustainable development.
Another legacy is the rapprochement with CLADEA and the local networks of the Global Compact, widening the relationship between academia-enterprise and increasingly strengthening executive education in Latin America.
Since April 1st I have started a process of transition to the new position and I communicate my resignation as Chair of the LAC Chapter. The LAC Advisory and Steering Committee will soon elect a new Chair that will continue with the activities of the chapter.
