The inaugural conference, Peace Metrics, Peace Economics, and the Role of Business, co-hosted by American University’s Kogod School of Business and the Institute for Economics and Peace, and co-sponsored by PRME, will be held on 5-6 April 2013 in Washington, DC.

The event will convene a range of students, academics, business practitioners, and policy-makers to develop new ideas and thinking on peace research and to establish networks to sustain conversation and the exchange of ideas. Both networking and career development opportunities are included in the program, and the Institute for Economics and Peace will select the best papers from the conference to publish in the inaugural Peace Metrics journal.

There is no fee, but in order to plan for the conference, kindly register before March 15, 2013. Participant information will be distributed and, if you would like to be included, please send a short bio and contact information.
