The seven PRME principles at Ravensbourne

1. Purpose: We create bold new thinkers who shape industries at the intersection of business,
creativity and technology. We acknowledge the role sustainability plays in all industries and
at this intersection. We challenge convention to meet the needs of students and industries
in this changing world.

2. Values: We live Ravensbourne's values of professionalism, connection, dynamism,
inclusion, transformation and relevance. Serving as the foundation for our culture, they are
guiding our commitment to responsibility and accountability to society and the planet.

3. Teach: We integrate the principles of sustainability and social responsibility across our
departments, courses and modules, providing both themes the centrality they command in
our curriculum and efforts to create future leaders for better futures for people and planet.

4. Research: We engage in research and knowledge exchange to fulfill our purpose, vision, and
mission. Transforming lives, helping people flourish, social purpose, and more are core to
our research and KE agenda to contribute and share knowledge across HE, industry, the
community, and society.

5. Partner: We learn with industry, industry learns with us and together we transform lives. We
consciously and constantly engage across sectors and industries to build lasting relations
for lasting change and lasting impact to benefit students, staff, and the community.

6. Practice: We develop and adopt responsible and accountable management principles
across our governance and operations. Individually and collaboratively, faculty and
professional service staff embed these principles in daily actions, policies, and processes.

7. Share: We expand our industry partnerships and grow our networks as an open and
welcoming space for all. To help our people flourish and create opportunities to transform
lives we share our successes and failures with others as we learn and grow together.
