International Conference DEVELOPING RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP IN CEE: How to build a critical mass of responsible leaders and managers in Central and Eastern Europe

Developing Responsible Leadership in CEE:The Developing Responsible Leadership in CEE conference will provide a platform for CEE CSR practitioners and management education professionals to share best practices and discuss the ways to develop CSR competencies in the region further.

The Conference is organized by Lviv Business School of the Ukrainian Catholic University (LvBS) and CSR Ukraine Community with support from CEEMAN (CEEMAN Management Development Association) and EABIS (The Academy of Business in Society) in order to foster the development of responsible leaders in Central and Eastern Europe.

Goals

  • Understand the competence mix required by a responsible business leader and a responsible manager
  • Identify what specific competences CEE environment requires, if any
  • Learn from peers - best practices of CSR competences development in the region
  • Get to know players, tools and methods that can be used to develop CSR competences
  • Develop ideas for own organization, national institutional environment and the region

  • Business leaders from Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Hungary and other CEE countries
  • Representatives of business schools from CEE region
  • Professional CSR and HR organizations from the region
  • Policy makers, NGOs and other stakeholders

Publication

The Developing Responsible Leadership in CEE conference will see the launch of the dedicated publication containing:

  • Results of the research of the responsible leadership in CEE region extending the original research by the Ashridge Business School's Developing the Global Leader of Tomorrow project
  • Toolkit for responsible leaders (practices and teaching cases)
  • Insights of the Conference
