CEIBS SIP Report 2019 - View Report

CEIBS boosted inclusivity in student recruitment. We promoted CSR-related research projects through dedicated funding. We put CSR high on agenda for curriculum innovation. CEIBS supported many student-initiated CSR activities. We actively disseminated these CSR best practices within the CEIBS community as well as stakeholders in societies in which we operate.

Responsibility and sustainability are common themes that run through all of CEIBS activities. CEIBS is driven by its mission ‘to educate responsible leaders versed in China Depth Global Breadth’, and has committed to the United Nations PRME principles. In general, responsibility and sustainability are important to CEIBS and its stakeholders, and CEIBS provides a platform for business leaders as students and alumni to develop their social interest, and to share their visions of a better China.

Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

Besides mandatory core courses dedicated to the topics at every degree program, we added MBA elective "Leadership for Social Responsibility" at MBA program. Our Executive Education CSR initiatives also reached out to African managers through AVIC training programs.

Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

In addition to faculty members who publish papers on the ethics, responsibility, governance and sustainabililty topics, we have faculty members written several business cases for use in the discussion of Business Ethics issues. We also provide research grant to topics on social enterprises. Our research partnership also goes beyond China to eastern Europe. And we have a joint research center of inclusive finance with the World Bank.
