IUM Sharing Information on Progress Report 2017-2018 - View Report

Period Covered: Jan 2017 to Jan 2019

IUM is striving to contribute to as many Sustainable Development Goals as possible and has been registered in the UN “Partnerships for the SDGs” Global Registry of Voluntary Commitments and Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships under #SDGAction436.

IUM placed the period 2017-2018 under the specific focus of SDG14 – “Life below water” and of the concept of Circular Economy. Details on these commitments will be provided in the fifth Sharing Information on Progress Report.

Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

The International University of Monaco (IUM) has:

Integrated courses on ethics, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility into all its curricula (please see program descriptions on Website).

Organized and participated in numerous events related to sustainability and CSR.

Established successful collaboration with the Prince Albert II Foundation in Monaco and the Peace and Sport Organization.

Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

Numerous students and faculty members incorporate in their research topics related to sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, shared values, impact investments etc. See individual SIPs for details.

Our mentorship program and numerous corporate projects focus on companies/institutions working in the field of sustainable development, such as Solar 1, SeaOrbiter and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
