We are proud of our work integrating Ethics and Sustainability into our curriculum, our Community Engagement and Service Learning efforts, and the University’s Solar Research Initiative. Our dialogs and partnership efforts, along with research planned or in progress, have put us on the path to greater PRME implementation in future.
Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
Our Mission Statement includes a commitment to ethics and responsibility in all of our teaching, research and service. For our undergraduate management degrees a Senior level course in Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility is now required for graduation. We have just started on a college initiative to integrate Service Learning in to our undergraduate management curriculum, a pilot project is underway this semester that is intended to be rolled out to other course in 2015.
Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
Several faculty have active research agendas in related areas including Sustainability, Renewable Energy and Cross-Sector Partnerships for Regional Problem-Solving. We have a COBA Advisory Committee composed of representatives from prominent local companies. They meet each semester, are briefed on our activities and asked to partner with us on our initiatives.
