Period Covered: Jun 2015 to Aug 2017

The Silberman College of Business has been a signatory to PRME from 2007 and this is the third SIP submitted. This report documents progress made in the context of PRME from 2015-2017.

Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

- Course, seminars, workshops and training programs to teach students and leaders/managers to lead and manage sustainably as world citizens
- Established Institutes (Sustainable Enterprise, Forensic Science Administration) for research, training and other outreach activities
- Student groups to implement sustainable practices campus-wide and in the community
- Establish a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Management
- Undergraduate course in sustainability (and global cultures), including a field study in Costa Rica
- Campus-wide sustainability initiatives (Green Club, Global Climate Change) to reinforce principles and practices
- Establish a (virtual) Sustainable Business Incubator to support start-up and new environmentally-oriented businesses
- Establish executive "coaching" initiatives to reinforce value and implementation of sustainable and corporate responsibility practices

Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

- Faculty research focused on how best to enhance sustainability
- Widely dissemination of faculty research in publications (academic journals) and conferences (and conference proceedings), nationally and internationally
-Establish "research fellows" opportunities for scholars
- Global collaborations in the spirit of "bringing people together" for the common goal of sustainability and corporate responsibility
- Monthly seminars, roundtables and workshops on sustainability-related topics for corporate executives for research and practical applications dialogue
