Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
As we all know that both businesses and business schools are going through a phase of soul searching. After 2008 financial crisis businesses world over are dealing with a trust deficit and business schools are facing a relevance gap. At LM TSM we are ready to take up both these challenges, in fact we courageously stand not only to change the way world conducts business but also the way business schools engage the world! We are convinced that creating a new world business order must start at home and an old nation like India is the right place to start this revolution.
We as a business school have identified three priority areas. They are namely sustainability, design thinking and new pedagogy.
Sustainability: 1. Campus (zero waste and energy neutral), 2. Curriculum (at least 25% sustainability content in everything we teach), and 3. Community (instilling sustainability practices)
Design Thinking: 1. Constraints as opportunities, 2. Compassion and Commitment towards stakeholders, and 3. Courage and Confidence
New Pedagogy: 1. Content, 2. Context and 3. Collaboration
Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
We have set up the following three research, teaching and practice centers:
1. Strategy, Sustainability and Society Center
2. Venture Lab - Thapar
3. Center for Policy and Pedagogy Research
Our business school is just eight years old and we are very serious about responsible business education.
