PRME Chapter Australia/New Zealand
The PRME Chapter Australia/New Zealand was endorsed by participants at the 2nd PRME Australia/New Zealand Forum, hosted by Griffith Business School (Australia) in 2012. The 1st PRME Australia/New Zealand Forum took place at the Australian School of Business - University of New South Wales (Australia) in 2011.
The Australian School of Business - University of New South Wales has initially agreed to host the Chapter, which currently includes the following schools: Griffith School of Business, La Trobe Business School, Australian School of Business, Monash University Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Waikato Management School, and Massey University College of Business.
The 3rd PRME Regional Forum Australia/New Zealand took place at the University of Waikato Management School (New Zealand) in November 2013. Through discussions of regional needs and priorities, this Regional Meeting reaffirmed the value of the Regional Chapter here.
The 4th PRME Regional Meeting Australia/New Zealand was hosted by the University of Wollongong and Federation University on 4 September 2016 in conjunction with the 15th International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility 5-6 September in Victoria, Australia.
Main Activities/Core Value Proposition
Main activities of the Chapter include:
- Strengthening the responsible management education and PRME participation in the region
- Creating a survey to involve Deans in PRME
- Monthly calls and use of social platform for communication between members of the Chapter
