Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

As Corporate Responsibility and sustainability became a crucial factor in Business education
nowadays, Caucasus School of Business (Caucasus University) respond to this issue by
implementing the topics of CSR and sustainable development into its academic curriculum and
course descriptions.
The topics of CSR and sustainability will be shortly included into management and marketing
subjects, such as Integrated Marketing Communications; Strategic Management; Public
Relations; Leadership; human Recourses Management; Organizational behaviour etc.
The teaching methodology will include such vehicles, as case study, researches, up-to-date
theory and approaches to organizational diagnostics and change; design of change programs,
dynamics of change etc. These topics will help to underline the modern and different
approaches to traditional management theory.
By this teaching methodology Caucasus School of Business will respond to the new trends and
demands in the management education, and therefore by disseminating this knowledge in
Georgia will help the Georgian companies to introduce the corporate responsibility and
sustainability techniques in their organizational culture.

Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

As corporate responsibility and sustainability in relatively new field, and especially at
Georgian Market, Caucasus School of Business is trying to diminish the gap of the lack of
research and knowledge development in this field. Caucasus School of Business (Caucasus
University) first step is it became the member of Global Compact Georgia, which is a UN
voluntary initiative encouraging private sector, civil society structures, trade agencies, UN
agencies and other stakeholders to apply ten universal principles for social and environmental
responsibility in their daily practices.
Besides Caucasus University is the member of such organizations as American Chamber of
commerce Georgia; French Business Council in Georgia; International Chamber of commerce
in Georgia which are developing and encouraging their members to take actions in terms of
