Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

What we have achieved so far:
1-We have courses in three programmes that cover these topics;
2-We developed a project to promote Financial Literacy in Portugal;
3-We have faculty involved in public interventions in this field;
4-We host and support students activities on these themes. This is an alternative learning vehicle (learning by doing) to inculcate these values in our students. Some examples:
a) Volunteering – The students can participate in several volunteer activities in order to promote social responsibility and sustainability;
b) NGO’s Consultancy - The students can make free consultancy to Non-Governmental Organizations;
c) We host the Portuguese Chapter group of the student’s organization ShARE.

What we intend to achieve in a near future:
1-The integration of these themes (together with ethics) in all programmes;
2-Develop a cycle of conferences to our students;
3-Create a board with company advisors to incorporate their views in School’s strategy;
4-Create a debate forum in order to develop case studies and teaching materials that can be used in the classroom;

Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

What we have achieved so far:
1-We host the OBEGEF – Observatory of Economics and Fraud Management;
2-We have faculty involved in research activities and publication on these topics;
3-We have faculty involved in public interventions in this area;
4-We host the Portuguese Chapter group of the student’s organization ShARE.

What we intend to achieve in a near future:
1-We want to continue to support the research in these areas and increase the number of faculty involved;
2-Create a debate forum in order to create and disseminate the knowledge in society;
3-Promote in our Study Center (ESFEP) a workgroup that can work together with companies on consultancy and applied research in this field.
