Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
Sogang Business School (SBS) is one of the best five business schools in South Korea. Since early 2000, the School has been moving ahead with its Strategic Core Values of Globalization, Leadership, Excellence and Ethics. The School subdivides the core value of Ethics into CSR and various sustainability issues.
The core value of Ethics are embedded in the followings:
1. The School's Undergraduate and Graduate Programs and their course curricula
2. Various seminars and guest-speaker series aimed at boosting the students' awareness of global environement of CSR
3. Various students' extracurricular activities.
The School's Strategic Plan (2008-2012) specifically aims at participating in PRME
as one of the proponents of the six principles. As we have been thus far, the principles of PRME will become a moving force for the students' living up to the true spirit of the global CSR awareness.
Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
The School's yearly assessment of its Strategic Plan that sets forth various action items for CSR and sustainability issues indicates that the School has been closely implementing various action plans of the CSR.
The School's proactive relationship with the corporate sector and the professional businesspersons will be reinforcing collaborations on the issue of CSR and the sustanability issues. The School will continue hosting seminars on the issues and encourage its students and faculty force to undertake more joint research with the business sector to explore sedimented areas of the issue.
