Sharing Information on Progress (2012)

University of South Florida St. Petersburg College of Business - View Report

The USFSP College of Business has taken great strides to integrate the Principles of Responsibility Management Education throughout its curricula and outreach to the community. Our Sharing in Progress report for 2012 outlines some of our major achievements in most recent years. We recognize the ever increasing importance of educating our future business leaders to be responsible managers and look forward to engaging in dialogue on the subject with our fellow PRME members.

Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

The USF St. Petersburg College of Business continues to build its student base and opportunities, expand its faculty research, and develop research emphasis on the themes of the College of Business mission, “…to educate current and future professionals in the effective management and ethical leadership of organizations.” Since 2007, both the College of Business and its Program of Accountancy were successfully confirmed as maintaining their separate accreditation by AACSB International for the first time as independent units, confirming the quality of the USF St. Petersburg programs and its faculty's research and College's course offerings. Opportunities for both faculty and students have presented themselves in a number of ways, including: a variety of research presentation in conferences, and publications.
