In this year’s SIP report, MBS would like to highlight the following key achievements: Renewal of our vision and mission; integration of CSR and sustainability related modules and courses into each study program; continuation of our charter membership of the University Network Education through Responsibility; our students’ and alumni’s ongoing commitment through initiatives, projects and events.

Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

- Specific CSR and ethics courses integrated in all academic programs focusing on general management issues (e.g. responsible leadership in a global context) as well as specific questions (e.g. health care ethics).
- Social Service Project (2 semesters) mandatory for all undergraduate students to develop socially responsible working professionals and to support local community partners in serving human needs
- Develop understanding for global issues in CSR and sustainability in interdisciplinary courses about business and society as well as business and cultural history
- Develop understanding for cultural differences of the role of CSR and sustainability through mandatory regional foci (e.g. Asia, Latin America, India, Africa)
- Student club "MBS Helps" supports international aid projects and encourages individual social responsibilty
- Social entrepreneurship workshops offered as part of the yearly Munich Venture Summit event
- Social responsibility und CSR topics integrated in "Human Capital Management & Leadership" executive education program

Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

- Developed reader with a classification of current issues in business ethics and a collection of cases
- Publication about UN Global Compact for small and medium sized companies
- Numerous theses with CSR and sustainability related topics
- Research planned about

- role of CSR/sustainability for foreign companies in China
