MIRBIS shares the Principles announced and implemented by PRME. These
Principles are central to the strategy of development of the Moscow
International Higher Business School MIRBIS.
Information exchange with PRME partners is important and very useful for
us.
We present the report on MIRBIS work, strategic initiatives and plans for
implementation of the PRME Principles
2013-2015

Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

On September 5, 2011 in compliance with MIRBIS Academic Board resolution the Center of Corporate Social Responsibility was developed and it started its activities.

MISSION of the MIRBIS CSR Center:
To train highly professional managers who are ready to bear responsibility for their work and are able to foster effective responsible cooperation of business and society.

Goals of the MIRBIS CSR Center:
Development and promotion of educational programmes in CSR and sustainable development
Organization and conduction of research in CSR and sustainable development
Development of expert community on CSR and sustainable development issues

Three directions of the MIRBIS CSR Center activities:
internal: introducing CSR and sustainable development issues into Business Schooleducational process for training responsible leaders;
external: offering innovative educational programmes for open and corporate markets;
international: adapting international CSR practices to Russian business practice, developing relations with international initiatives: Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative(GRLI), International Integrated Reporting Committee (IIRC), UN Global Compact and others.

The MIRBIS CSR Center develops open and corporate educational programmes, international trainings; holds round tables and conferences.

In November 2011 MIRBIS became the member of the international association Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative - GRLI

We work with leading Russian experts, managers and government executives, make partner projects with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Russian Managers Association, the Association of Directors of Communications and other organisations.

Our strategic partner - the Financial Corporation "Uralsib" - one of the leading Russian companies in the field of CSR and philanthropy, with which we will develop and implement research and educational projects.

Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

The MIRBIS CSR Centre is interested in such research directions as CSR and sustainable development, anti-corruption, integrated reporting, management by values ​​and business ethics, management ESG-risk and reputation.

In 2012 the following researches were made: "The CSR and sustainable development issues in Russian universities and business schools", "Preferred topics of MIRBIS Students in CSR and sustainable development", "The best CSR practices in financial and investment sector".

In 2011 MIRBIS held the I International Forum on CSR, in 2012 - the II annual International Forum "Socially responsible business as a basis for sustainable development: experience of successful corporations and business schools cooperation", which brought together leading national and international experts.

We are interested in cooperation projects with the leading world experts in CSR and sustainable development and with executives who work in CSR paradigm.
Prof.Bradley K. Googins and Philiph Mirvis, Ph.D, (Boston College, USA), Mary Gentile (Babson College, USA), Anders Aspling, GRLI General Secretary, EFMD senior consultant, Lez Rayman-Bacchus, Head of CSR Programmes, London Metropolitan University took part in delevering MIRBIS educational programmes, in conferences and round tables.
