The DCU Business School MBA programme incorporates corporate responsibility and sustainability into various modules. An example of this is the Strategic Consultancy Project which is a year long module covering all aspects of corporate responsibility.
DCU Business School provides two programmes in the field of corporate sustainability: Graduate Certificate and Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Finance. The Masters programme was developed this year in response to the high demand on the Graduate Certificate.
Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
DCU Business School is actively responding to needs to incorporate an understanding of the complexities of corporate responsibility and sustainability across its offering to students. The School has recently developed an online course for all final year undergraduates that has a focus on CSR, and elements of sustainability, namely the module Business and Society.
On the DCU Business School Masters in Marketing programme students are also afforded the opportunity to read Sustainability Marketing which is a module grounded in the application of the theory of sustainable communication and which has Externships in Sustainability run in conjunction with the Sustainability Collaborative - students work with companies, such as Johnson & Johnson or Vodafone on sustainability challenges.
