Achievements Curriculum Integration in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

The School emphasises whole-person business education and aims to nurture business leaders who demonstrate ethics and values, and contribute to the development of their organisations and the community as a whole. The School has incorporated business ethics, corporate governance, CSR and corporate sustainability elements into programme curricula to ensure students understand these concepts and how to apply them to different management situations.

The MBA Project also provides opportunities for students to conduct consulting projects for social enterprises as part of the Hong Kong government’s Enhancing Self Reliance Through District Partnership Programme. Undergraduates can also enrol in the “Service Learning and Community Engagement” elective course and work at non-profits as interns.

Achievements Research Development in the Field of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

The School places a dual emphasis on teaching and research, recognising that research and scholarship not only advance and disseminate business knowledge, but also improve the quality of teaching and learning. We prioritise research on CSR, business ethics, corporate governance and sustainability issues that shape business practices and enhance ties with the private and public sectors. Furthermore, the School has organised research projects, seminar series, international conferences, symposiums and forums to promote corporate sustainability in the School and community as part of the “Corporate Sustainability: A Community Dialogue” project.
