Bainbridge Graduate Institute ranks #1 in sustainable business education according to Net Impact's Business as Unusual: The 2008 Student Guide to Graduate Business Programs. BGI took first place in 5 of the 13 categories, including #1 in preparation for ethical and socially responsible leadership, and was among the top five schools in 10 of the 13 questions. Additional highly ranked schools include Antioch New England, Cornell, Duke, Notre Dame and others, however, no other business school received more than 2 first place scores.

The deadline is approaching to register for Thunderbird School of Global Management's second annual Sustainable Innovation Summit which draws top business school students from around the world for a global competition to develop sustainable innovative business solutions for real-world companies. The competition begins Oct. 6 with an online round of questions from sponsoring global companies seeking innovative solutions to their every-day business challenges. Ten teams will emerge from the online round as finalists on Oct. 22 and will then travel to Thunderbird’s Glendale, Ariz., campus to compete in the final round on Nov. 13-15. Questions throughout the competition are posed by leading global companies such as Johnson & Johnson, the Summit’s leading sponsor and presenter of the $20,000 prize. Other registered sponsors thus far include APS, EcoLab, BillMatrix, Xerox, and Net Impact.
