28 September 2016 | Tallinn, Estonia -- The PRME Central and Eastern European Chapter had its second meeting, deciding on the future steps of the Chapter.
The participants were welcomed by prof. Danica Purg, the president of CEEMAN, as the Chapter meeting was organised within the frames of the CEEMAN 24th Annual Conference.
Irina Sennikova, Asoc. Prof., and the rector of RISEBA University has opened the debates, giving the floor to the key-speakers: Anita Negri (oikos international), Monika Kolb (Cologne Business School), and Yaroslaw Pavlov (Distance Learning, IBS RANEPA). They have shared their experience in reagards of sustainability in education, rasing high participants’ involvement.
The future directions were addressed in the second part of the meeting. Particularly, the future co-operation for creating a common course of Sustainability and Ethics in Management was discussed. Big accent was given to the Chapter activities attracting new members, and to the stake-holder dialogue. The PRME organisation strategy was also introduced. It was also decided that the future meeting will take place in Moscow in the beginning of 2017 within the frames of the Gaidar Forum. Altogether 43 participants have demonstrated their high interest in turning PRME ideas into actions.
