Participants of the 2015 PRME Global Forum are invited to join an interactive workshop for the introduction of The Flourish Prizes: a global learning initiative powered by students to share stories about radical business innovations that uplift humanity. Inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Flourish Prizes are inviting business students worldwide to showcase their discoveries on a dynamic online platform powered by the technology partner myActions.com. Hear results from the Spring 2015 pilot with 24 professors from 13 countries on 5 continents, and learn how your school and students can join in Fall 2015.
Several professors engaged in the pilot of the Flourish Prizes will be in attendance to share their students' experiences. Professor Amelia Indrajaya Januar of the IPMI International Business School in Indonesia has energized 55 students to locate innovations, conduct in-person interviews and submit stories. And Professor George Dionne of the IESDE Business School in Mexico reports that his students are very excited about the process and are conducting Appreciative Inquiry interviews to learn about business model and technology innovations in their community.
All 2015 PRME Global Forum attendees are invited to attend this action-learning workshop and to take part in discovering and sharing student-discovered stories about business as an agent of world benefit. The Flourish Prizes workshop session will be held 23 June from 1-3pm.
