The 2nd PRME MENA Regional Forum
Doing Business Responsibly: When corporations become citizens
Objective of Forum:
The importance of the 2nd PRME MENA regional forum is amplified by the growing tendency towards adopting corporate citizenship, social performance and sustainable responsible business principles, with an attempt to increase the positive impact business schools and management-related academic institutions and companies have on their various stakeholders and the society at large. This forum mainly aims at endorsing the notion of responsible business and the importance of adopting PRME among business schools and management-related academic institutions in the MENA region as per the recommendations of the 1st regional forum at American University in Cairo in 2011. This forum also aims at agreeing on the objectives of the PRME regional chapter for the MENA region.
Who should attend?
- Constituents of academic institutions which are already or intend to become signatories to PRME.
- NGOs focusing on issues such as CSR, social performance and corporate citizenship.
- Senior & Executives interested in corporate sustainability and CSR
- Regional and international economic and financial institutions
- Representatives from the public sector
