PhD Colloquium on ‘Developing the next generation of responsible leaders
In preparation for the 1st International Conference on Responsible Leadership, the Centre for
Responsible Leadership, in partnership with the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) are
proud to host a PhD Colloquium on the broad theme of ‘Developing the next generation of responsible
leaders.’ This colloquium is seen as a starting point to developing the global debate on responsible
leadership amongst PhD candidates, who can share their ideas and experiences at this forum.
Participants to the colloquium will be able to:
• Attend and/or submit papers to the main conference on 19 and 20 May, 2010 without paying the
conference fee.
• Network with other international PhD candidates and senior academics to test their topics and
research methodology in an environment of critical peer interaction.
• Become part of the global debate on Responsible Leadership and help to redefine the boundaries of
a new world view which epitomises responsiveness, relevance and responsibility by testing the
importance of balanced morality, while ensuring sustainable business practices.
